  • Ibanez created their GIO range to appeal to guitarists who are looking for quality without having to spend a fortune. The GRG131DX Spot Run offers superb tone and a quality feel despite its low price, making the ideal first guitar to go to for a beginner. Featuring the double cutaway profile, the GRG131DX body sits just right against the player while allowing you to access all of the frets that the neck has to offer. The poplar body is lightweight and ideal for newer players. The smooth-playing feel of the neck is further improved by a pine fingerboard topping the neck. There are 24 jumbo frets available to explore with shark tooth inlays that guide you up and down. Ibanez has included a powerful pair of Infinity R humbucking pickups to engineer the sound of the GRG131DX Spot Run model. The ceramic pickups are situated in the neck and bridge positions. The dual humbuckers produce a fat, full-bodied tone that is ideal for thick chords and great lead sound. The lower bout of the body is fitted with a sturdy and reliable fixed bridge. The bridge provides accurate string spacing and facilitates changing over to new strings as and when you need to. Black hardware suits the finish of the guitar and is built to last.
